Carbimazole vs dark yellow urine

Hi does anyone have had experiences of dark yellow urine after taking Carbimazole normally when get up in the morning. I did drink of water these days when I noticed last week, the color gets lighter later in the day. I wondered if I shall contact GP. I am only on Carbimazole 18 days. Should I do blood test on liver. My liver test appointment is 10 days away although I can go to walk in clinic earlier if needed.

Do you have existing issues with liver, you mention a future appointment.

I think you need to a doctor sooner, as soon as possible.

Link to NHS advice on carbimazole

Dark urine - advice is “Stop taking carbimazole and tell a doctor straight away”

Take your patient Information leaflet with you & be able to point out NHS advice. Medics are not always familiar with rare side affects of carbimazole.
