Booking bloods

Hi,

I seen an Endocrinologist privately a couple of weeks ago and he gave me a list of 10 bloods to book in including thyroid, sex hormones and cortisol. These need to be on day 3 of my period and for cortisol early morning (which I'm sure everyone here knows).

However, my periods are irregular, so I'm wondering how this works with booking the bloods?

I called up the same hospital I had the app in today to enquire and I was told they only do bloods 3 times a week and it's very difficult to book in as they are "flooded" and would be unlikey to get an app for bloods short notice.

Seems a challenge to align everything. Wondering if anyone has any advice.

Thank you.

Could you order the kit from a provider and find yourself a friendly local nurse who could help you? I asked on our local Facebook group if anyone knew of a local phlebotomy service and had two offers of help very close to me ( I live in a small community so maybe easier)
