Results look 'good' still feel something missing

Morning all,Since being unwell in October, I've slightly reduced by dose of levo and tested last week. In general I've been loads better but I think that's more due to addressing my anxiety than anything else.

I'm currently taking 106.25 mcg levo (100/112.5) alternative days.

I'm experimenting with myself to see what symptoms are caused by anxiety and what by my thyroid. I'm left with now feeling pretty much how I did before starting medication. Lack of stamina, having to rest in the afternoon, can't exercise, weak nails, tinnitus, acid reflux etc etc.

So my results (attached) look okay, my TSH went up slight with the dose reduced but my T4 didn't drop as I expected and my t3 never seems to move much.

With my T4 being 19.5 I don't know about increasing my levo anymore? It's already high in range.

My T3 has never been higher than 5.2...so maybe this is what I need to work on? Whilst it is 50% ish through the range, maybe getting it a bit higher would solve my remaining issues?

Recent vitamins in profile but all are okay and I'm supplementing where needed. All testing protocol followed

Thanks for your thoughts! I've got an appointment with the Thyroid Clinic coming up in a few weeks to discuss next steps.

What time do you take your Levo? Have you ever tried splitting your dose? Some members find changing the time/ splitting dose into two helpful.

Have you ever trialled a GF diet? Eliminating gluten helped me enormously- both physically & mentally.

No I've never tried splitting the dose, think I'd struggle to find a time in the afternoon with an empty stomach!! Currently take it at 5am ish

Plus keeping it 2 hours from all the supplements.

I am gluten free, it hasn't really helped unfortunately

I’ve found that if I increase by FT4 to the top of the range, I experience high anxiety, so would be cautious about any significant increase. If you currently add an extra 12.5mcg three times a week to your 100mcg daily dose, you could try adding this 5 days a week, with 2 days remaining at 100mcg. I’m a huge fan of ‘low and slow’ when making adjustments. I think I would try the Levo increase before considering a combination trial (ie adding Liothyronine)

If I switch to bedtime dosing (and I took my normal dose this morning) should I take my next dose tomorrow night? My brain can't compute the best way to swap over

If you’re going to take half dose at bedtime and half waking

You can take half tomorrow morning and half at bedtime

Or

Take half this evening and half tomorrow
