I all, awaiting app. With general surgery, I have no diagnosis of anything, just an u.s which identified 6 nodules mixture of solid and non solid, bloods done at g.p all clear. So my question isWhy do I experience voice change, nausea and swallow issues on and off?
I had a great xmas ate and drank like totally normal however before that Had above going on for approx 2 wks. And now I feel it coming back again so if I'm not hypo or hyer why does it come and go. Thanks all

Can you give us the actual numbers, please: results and ranges? Just saying they were 'all clear' is meaningless. And doctors are notoriously bad at interpreting blood test results - IF they've even done the right tests!
I struggle from 2014 till 2018 with what I called my flare ups😄 they would come and go, one day my voice and swallowing was normal, the next I was talking like I'd smoked from birth [ never been a smoker] and my food got stuck had to swallow several times with a drink just to get it down.
Then sweating joined the symptoms, then a slight tremor, I saw my GP and he put it down to the menopause 🙄 this went on until 2018 where I eventually couldn't cope anymore, I'd lost weight to , eventually got the diagnosis of hyperthyroidism [ graves].
But it was the flare ups I was concerned about, the endo I saw told me I was attacking my thyroid intermittently making it go overactive, then the attack would stop, but in the last year I was constantly attacking my thyroid which lead to my diagnosis and eventual thyroidectomy 😔 but I always say...." you know your own body"
To tell you the truth my GP knew nothing about thyroid conditions, I was diagnosed by a different GP at his awful surgery, unfortunately that GP left after only 3 weeks.I was put back with the awful GP 😡
Diagnosed Sep 18th 2018 awful GP never apologised for miss diagnosis, he never took any bloods or sent me to an endo, just left me on anti thyroid drugs which he never monitored me on, I went into thyroid storm in Jan 2019.
The lovely doctor on the ward go me all the care I needed [ endo , scan , bloods] but my thyroid was very toxic in effect it was slowly poisoning me.
My scan showed massive uptake in both lobes , there was no mention of nodules, but my thyroid had swollen backwards causing my throat issues , the specialist said it needed to come out ASAP.
But it wasn't that easy , because it was so toxic the surgeon couldn't operate right away so I was put on oral iodine for 4 and a half weeks 🤮 until my thyroid was killed.
It's amazing how little I was told about my condition from GPS to endos
I now get evey blood , scans ect printouts I want to see the information for myself, it pays to be one step ahead of these so called specialist's 👍
In Graves' disease, the thyroid is not being attacked. It is being stimulated by Stimulating TSH receptor antibodies and responding to them by producing more thyroid hormone.
These were, and sometimes still are, called Long Acting Thyroid Stimulator.
