I have a permanent scratchy sore throat and as a singer it’s a big problem. I wondered if anyone has experienced post nasal drip due to levothyroxine .. I have been on my medication for 30 years but introduced t3 a year or so ago. Any natural remedies ??
Thank you

Hello slow dragon thank you. Mostly accord.. but probably whatever they have ! I used to ask for eltroxin years ago. Any thoughts ? And no there is no way he will increase my Levo. He says I am on way too much. Thanks 🤩
Sorry to hear you're suffering from this! I had this for years before I was diagnosed and wonder whether levo is actually helping reduce it. On the natural side, have you tried saline in a neti pot?
After all sorts of allergy testing and food elimination diet tests, I finally figured out this was triggered for me by oil in the air (from cooking or diffusers) or cold air, so try to avoid that now!
On the not natural side, otrivine dual action is the only thing that works for me when it's bad. I've also now got a prescription for ipratropium bromide nasal spray to stop it before my nose starts going.
Best of luck with it, I know how debilitating this can be!
thanks so much Ruthie. It just feels like I permanently have a cold and the throat is particularly bad for a singer ! I will try some of your suggestions
