Have a mailed the Practice Manager about my records and seeing I am supposed to have pure cholesterolemia. .if I do a web search it seems to say it's genetic and passed to your family from parents etc. Not nice to suddenly see . As I said once my thyroid treated properly I would hope the cholesterol will drop if it doesn't I may rethink taking statins tho I would rather not. The nhs.website did say people hypothyroid shouldn't take it .has anyone else read that . They may be harmless after all and not have problems but I just feel I don't want to add to my existing problems and I know if I complain they will blame something else .I have things going on now that they won't address . My sister had pain in foot Dr diagnosed Morton's neurona on examination .ultrasound was ordered she has injection in foot soon to help with pain but can walk ok after replacement knee last year . I am at the same surgery but my walking isn't being seen by anyone . Nor the pain in my heel plantar fasciitis I imagine .I read that is also thyroid related..I can't just go to a Dr and have one thing dealt with .I wonder is it me. The way I tell them ? I try keep to the severe and worse things but there's lot going on. X

Plantar fasciitis is frequently result of poorly managed thyroid…….by low Ft3 and/or low vitamin D

But don’t expect many (any) GP to be aware of that

It should improve once vitamin D and Ft3 are at good levels
