I hope you can give me some pointers on my test results. I had been on ERFA in the past but my reverse T3 was high as was my cortisol.
I’m now on a grain and a half of ERFA daily along with 20mcg of T3. I left 15 hours in between my last dose and drawing blood. I’m feeling a little better but still feeling hypo.
Thanks in advance,
Tired

I've never used NDT but adding T3 often lowers fT4 so even if adding another half a grain giving you an extra 17.25mcg T4 and 4mcg T3 I'm not sure that will increase your fT4 enough 🤷♀️ but worth a try and I'd reduce your T3 dose to 15mcg
I’m battling with my NHS doc to get B12 jabs more frequently but they just told me to buy supplements. I did and I’ve not felt any improvement. And I’m now taking the Vit D spray that was recommended.
As you have B12 injections it’s recommended also to supplement a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in (not folic acid) may be beneficial.
This can help keep all B vitamins in balance and may help maintain B12 levels between injections
Then once your serum B12 is over 500 (or Active B12 level has reached 70), you may be able to reduce then stop the B12 supplement and just carry on with the B Complex.
If Vegetarian or vegan likely to need ongoing separate B12 few times a week
Igennus B complex popular option. Nice small tablets. Most people only find they need one per day. But a few people find it’s not high enough dose and may need separate methyl folate couple times a week
Thorne Basic B recommended vitamin B complex that contains folate, but they are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule) Thorne can be difficult to find at reasonable price, should be around £20-£25. iherb.com often have in stock. Or try ebay
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 5-7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12
Post discussing how biotin can affect test results
