Folate range change, how do I know if my folate is okay

In the past I have been told that if our folate is half way through the range then it's a good level. Mine this time was 6.6 and was told it should be more than 3, but no actual range given. How do I know if it's okay or not.

My B12 is 530 (range 191-663).

I was taking folate but stopped when I ran out. Have just got Thorne stress B complex recently and am now taking them. They have 200 mg folate per capsule.

I have always thought 20 was the target for us… there aren’t helpful ranges given usually and never an upper limit.

I was uncertain re. the 20, but then read this just now: healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

That’s all I know!

Well that explains my symptoms then. Thank you. Must write that down this very minute as I will forget.

A heads up that Thorne Stress B is quite different to their Basic B and not one I'd suggest is good for daily / long term use with high levels of B6 and not a good form (pyridoxine) and lower levels of folate and B12

Thank you so much TiggerMe. I really do appreciate you letting me know. I will try and get the Basic B one next time and stop using these. Where would we be without all you great people.
