Please can someone help me with my Blood Results?

Please can someone help me with my blood results. I had my annual blood test yesterday & the results are shown on my NHS app & I don't know what they mean. Sorry, I'm dyslexic & I've never been able to read blood tests. Usually the results are shown in pop up's but they are not doing that today. I'll attach two screenshots. Serum Free T3 Level mine 2.4 Normal 3.1-6.8

Serum TSH Level mine 0.01 Normal 0.27-4.20

I had a total thyroidectomy during 2008. I was poisoned by T4 & for many years I have been on T3 Only. My Px is 3 x 20mcg tablets daily. I didn't have any T3 for 24 hours before my blood test as usual

so result is pretty irrelevant as you left too long between last dose T3 and blood test

T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test

When were vitamin D, folate B12 and ferritin levels last tested

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Thank You SlowDragon. I've always do not take my T3 24 hours before my annual blood test. I didn't see any results for Vit D, Folate B12 or Ferritin levels & I can't remember them being tested. I don't take any vitamin supplements. Every year I'm always worried they will try & reduce my T3

Even though it is best to test as our mighty SD says you have tested the same way every year they can compare. You seem low on T3 so cannot see them going lower. How are you feeling these days?

Sleepman. Thank You. Yes, I've been on T3 Only 20mcg 3 x Daily since 2010. I always take all of my T3 first thing in the morning with two mugs of coffee & no food. I always stop taking my T3 24 hours before every blood test because I'm always worried they will try to cut down my T3. Thank You for saying I seem low on T3 that's the result I want. In myself I'm feeling really good. I just want to get the stress over this blood test & having to talk to a pharmacist because my levels are not their normal behind me. I just want to be properly prepared for the phone call. Thank You

You can test thyroid and vitamin levels yourself privately, testing with correct time gap

Then you have a personal record of more realistic results

You don’t need to share them with GP unless you want to

T3 only is specialist and more experienced members will comment but if you feel OK thats good ...

By testing after spreading T3 dose you can get an idea of the peak. Your T3 result would will be higher.

You may need the peak to get the T3 in though. Thyroid resistance I think it is called.

Thank You Sleepman. So much stress has disappeared now I know my blood T3 was low, which is what I wanted. I think I read on here maybe about 15 years ago about stopping T3 for 24 hours before a blood test by someone on T3 only & it's something I've done since then. My panic only restarted when they decided to try & stop prescribing T3 because of the costs! I'm definitely all ok & feel well. I've definitely got to stop stressing myself out about blood tests & my T3 prescription! Thank You

Your levels seem low but only because you left 24 hours before the test, you probably know that. If you feel OK good.
