Looking to get a fasting blood test tomorrow. Does anyone know if going to parkrun first at 8am and then having the blood test straight after, still fasting except for water, will impact on the results at all?
Was looking to test TSH, FT4, FT3, RT3, Antibodies.

This is a private blood test but venous draw and will be sent directly to the lab as currently visiting Australia. I already know vitamin D, iron, folate and B12 levels are optimal. Just wanting to know if the exercise pre-blood test will have any significant impact or not.
Pretty standard advice... but it depends what you hope to understand from the results 🤷♀️ to make results comparable thtey need to be under the same conditions
To prepare for a blood test, you should:
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours before the test.
Avoid alcohol for 48-72 hours before the blood draw.
Do not perform any exercise except gentle walking on the morning of the test.
