HiI am trying to get morningside levothyroxine on your advice here as it seems it's the best one?if not what should I opt for?Am I right in that accord and northstar hillcross and teva are all the same and to be avoided?the doctor has allowed me to go up to 175mg so I have a script for 100 50 and 25
I have adhd also so all this trying to research etc is sending me into a further spiral.!!!

Morningside is Liothyronine (T3). So of no interest to you.
Accord, Northstar (no longer available), Hillcross are all Levothyroxine (T4).
Hillcross 25 are Teva Levothyroxine product.
Hillcross 50 and 100 are Accord Levothyroxine product.
Teva have BOTH Levothyroxine (T4) and Liothyronine (T3) products.
It isn't as simple as avoiding Teva. Some members really like Teva Levothyroxine. Some cannot tolerate Teva Levothyroxine. And we do not know how to predict whether any person will find it good or bad.
I've mainly been on teva I think...for 20 years or more(!) ..but never paid attention to the makes(!) ..I have accord..aristo amd mercury pharma all in my cupboard.is it important to make sure you have all 190mg 50mg and 25mg all same brand?I need to up to 175mg as soon as poss but also think I need to aim at one same brand each time going forward.the chemists all seem ro have accord.. hillcross and one beginning with 'w'
If you are OK with them, then it really doesn't matter if you mix makes. But if you are not quite right, it can be more difficult to identify which one is the problem!
I agree that same make for all seems ideal. Which means you could get Advanz (Mercury Pharma), Aristo Vencamil, Crescent or Teva.
Wockhardt only make 25 which is somewhat limiting!

A discussion about mixing (and switching) formulations of levothyroxine.
It would be possible for your prescriber to give you 100 + 75 in most of those (not Advanz/Mercury Pharma). But this means it is more difficult to drop to, say, 150, if it was needed.
