Confusing blood results

I've been on NDT Armour for 14 months, titrating very slowly (1/4grain every 2-3 months). I've got on well with it, having gradual improvements with each increase.

I can't get my head around these latest results, my FT4/FT3 is looking similar to where I started in July 2023. Both had increased through the last year (apart from a blip followibg covid at Christmas).

My last test end May 2024 was 17.5 FT4, 5.9 FT3 and TSH 0.01, same ranges and lab. I still did not feel optimal in May, I wanted another increase but the thyroid Dr did not recommend a 1/4 grain increase because he thought my symptoms were cortisol related, I stayed at 1 & a 1/4 grain. (Note: I am a petite woman 5' 1" and weigh 8st 3oz.). I posted then: healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

My cortisol is low, phase II axis dysfunction last tested Feb 2024. There is some adrenal support in the supplements recommended by the thyroid Dr but I had been looking at adding more myself because I've been feeling so bad.

Only last week I talked to my OH about feeling quite anxious and was even considering asking GP for anxiety meds. I now feel this may be related to the low FT3.

Other symptoms: fatigue napping in afternoon, brain fog, sore mouth/ulcers, haemorrhoid flare up, teeth clenching at night and sometimes in the day. My difficulty falling asleep has not improved but I do sleep for longer on Armour.

Has the FT4/FT3 lowered because I am under medicated?
