Sexism, Racism, you name the ism the NHS thrives on it.
The Guardian has a report that the NHS is denying prostrate tests for black men, even though they are at higher risk.
It is a known sad fact that health inequalities are felt most by People of Colour, particularly Black women. In fact the more significant demographics one can identify with eg having a mental illness, aged population, etc, the worse the health outcomes gets
These sort of articles give me no hope that things will ever change as it’s not news. It’s well established in fact, not just in anecdotal experiences but by data too.
