Is it ok to get thyroid and sex hormone blood test by finger prick sample instead of venous draw.

Hi, I have my first follow up appointment with my private Thyroid doctor in Oct. She has asked me to get blood tests done by her clinic instead of Medichecks, which I usually use. Her clinic offers fingerprick tests, so just wondered if it'd be ok to get this instead of the venous draw to save a bit money and for easiness as I'm not feeling well and able to get out and about much just now. All my previous thyroid and hormone tests were done by venous draw. I've only had one nutrition/supplement test done by finger prick sample and it worked out well. Thanks
