when I now have my thyroid blood test taken they are sent to thyroid Uk with special forms. All I get back from TUK is ok keep taking 100mg etc. I can see results for online Airmid etc but no one ever discusses with me do go I just okie along until I have another crisis? I really don’t understand the messages on here eg taking T3 or 4 or TSH results etc etc when I have asked before medics have looked at me as though I’m stupid for not knowing what’s what. No I'm asking for education/knowledge please don’t respond stating read the blogs etc as they don’t really help me. Past advice here then taken to GP has earned me more bad markers on my record I believe.

What exactly do you want to know? You only have to ask.
is this supposed to be a reply to me???
Why would you doubt it?
I couldn’t follow the thread at the time. Sorry if I’ve offended you I didn’t mean to .
No, I'm not offended. I just thought it was a strange reply because I replied on your thread so who else would it be for?
You keep saying you don't understand this, that, and the other. So, I thought you might want further explanations- which would be no problem at all, just ask.

…….But no one contacted to explain and thyroid uk feedback letter just stated keep taking 100mg do my tests seem ok ? I’m having lots of dizzy spells which A&E after fall which resulted in broken nose skinned face& knees and split forehead suggested I was to be referred to fall clinic but GP response was wait until neuro results for ‘Knee’ condition is in which might be next year appointments have told me after last scan M..it’s all complicated I know
Serum free T4 level 17.9 pmol/L [11.5 - 22.7];
That is only 57.14% through the range. That is low. Most hypos need it around 75%.
I don't understand what you mean by the 'thyroid uk feedback letter', what is that? Whatever it is, and whoever it was, they should have recognised that you needed an increase in dose.
Serum TSH level 0.39 mIU/L [0.55 - 4.78];
That is ok, but a TSH reading on its own doesn't give us much useful information. Admittedly is was below range, but that is pretty much irrelevant. TSH is not a thyroid hormone. Was that result from the same test as the FT4 above?
Have you had your nutrients tested: vit D, vit B12, folat and ferritin? Dizzy spells can be caused by low B12. But it's rare to find a doctor that understands the importance of vit B12.
thyroid uk feedback letter that’s the letter I get from Thyroid Uk after my bloods have been examined by their lab.
I wonder if you're not getting a little confused there, because I'm pretty certain Thyroid UK don't have a lab and don't do blood tests. Did you perhaps mean Medichecks, or some other blood testing company?
copy of letter recd. NHS not private.
3months ago:
FT4: 14.4 pmol/l (Range 9 - 25)
Ft4 only 33.75% through range
Was this past result on 75mcg Levothyroxine?
Can you share your current thyroid blood test on 100mcg Levothyroxine?
is this supposed to be a reply to me???
Yes. I found the blood test results from your post 3 months ago and was asking whether the test at this time was on 75mcg Levo.
It would be helpful if you could also share your most recent results, then members can better advise.

As greygoose , I would press for key thyroid vitamins to be tested if you haven’t had these results for a while.
If you have adverse symptoms related to hypothyroidism, I would ask for an increase in Levo to get FT4 higher in range. If GP reluctant (due to slightly low TSH), ask for a full thyroid test (ie one that includes FT3) as a next step.
