Lercandipine

I've been taking Lercandipine for about 5 months and my ability to walk short distances is torturous and general weakness/shortness of breath. I put it down to a back injury I sustained 6 months ago and thought that this has been causing the walking problem! I'm now thinking that it could well be the Lercandipine!?

Are you taking other medications at least 2 hours away from levothyroxine

What are your most recent thyroid and vitamin results

How much levothyroxine are you taking

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

If also on T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
