I’ve had pain in both eyes for three days now and I can’t figure out what it might be .

Has anyone experienced eyeball pain as part of their Thyroid symptoms?
Steni,
My eyeballs hurt to move from left to right before I was medicated. They felt swollen as if there wasn’t room for them to rotate but I guess it could have been dysfunction of the muscles that make them rotate 🤷♀️.
I had the condition for several months, maybe even a year in varying degrees but after medicating Levothyroxine it disappeared. Levo helped many of my hypo symptoms but also made others worsen or induced new.
It would be a good idea to make an urgent appointment with an optician, just to check for something nasty.
It might be just excessive caution, but missing something curable is not something I would want to do in relation to my own eyes.
Another alternative...
Some hospitals in the UK have "Eye A&E" in addition to the normal A&E. They might only be open during daytime hours, but if it is outside their normal opening hours then they see people in the normal A&E.

thank you - I have made an optician appointment and seen my doctor this morning - she didn’t think anything was amiss but I’ll be glad to see the optician tomorrow
Steni,
I had a two eye tests but nothing was found as they are only acquainted with TED.
This is autoimmune when the body attacks the eye surrounding tissue causing inflammation. What I had was a long term insufficiency of thyroid hormone that caused horrendous symptoms including changes to my voice box, a permanent dry cough, hearing issues and pain in my eye balls. I was eventually diagnosed with Hashi and medicated accordingly.
TED is possible in Hashi suffers but be aware so also are other eye issues. I think it's Dr Skinner who mentions my issues in his book.
