hi, can upping a dose cause twitching?

I increased mine 5 weeks ago and this week I’ve had so much twitching in my 4 small toes. Strange, I know. They’re moving involuntarily, every second!

I’ve also got muscle aches, weakness and tiny bit of numbness in arms and legs. I know thyroid can cause this but it’s been 5 weeks so I’m starting to think otherwise.

Taking vitamin d3 +k, b complex, and a few prebiotics. I checked magnesium a few months ago and it was okay.

If taking vitamin D, it’s recommended we always supplement magnesium

Magnesium blood test is highly unreliable

Magnesium best taken in the afternoon or evening, but must be four hours away from levothyroxine

I had this and it was due to my FT4 being way too high.

Magnesium didn’t do anything for it either.

did you also have the switching?

Yeah I had near constant muscle twitching in my fingers, thighs, arms and back and it gave me involuntary movements. My Ft4 was over range.

They just told me to do a blood test for a few minerals and thyroid.
