Hi, after 20 years on T4 only with below par physical health, and recently diving mental health , my eyes got opened to the thyroid madness, and now I want to try T3. Is there a list of T3 friendly endos in UK, preferably Kent? Is this maintained anywhere? thank you.

T3 friendly endo list
yes .. it's kept by thyroid uk .. link to a page to request the list here : thyroiduk.org/contact-us/ge... get-list-of-private-gps-practitioners/
I'm under one in Kent and have recently started T3 after 18 years of T4 only hell. I did have six months on combined with an NHS endo who was very reluctant to do it and I had to pay privately for the prescription, but he then stopped prescribing without even so much as a blood test in making that decision. Long story short I'm now T3 only, this is because A. I have the faulty DI02 gene and B. since seeing the private doctor I was tested for reverse T3 which was very high. I now also take LDN (low dose Naltrexone) for the Hashimotos part. I'm really looking forward to my next set of blood tests as LDN can have a positive effect on the thyroid meaning lower doses of replacement hormones are a possibility. I'm only a few weeks in but feeling a distinct shift in my symptoms. I'm feeling hopeful that finally at the age of 59 I'm going to get my life and health back.
