question about my tsh, t3, t4 result

hi I just received my result. My TSH is 0.38 (0.40-4.5 mIU/L) , my free T3 is 3.0 (2.3-4.2 pg/ML), free T4 is 1.4 (0.8-1.8)Ng/dL). I did my test with fasting and before 9am without taking thyroid medicine. Me last two tests were similar that my TSH was lower than the normal range. My doctor kept saying since my T3 and T4 are normal, I should keep my current medication of 88mcg levothyroxine t4 and 5mcg liothyronine T3. But I keep losing weight and have runny poop. Should I decrease my T4 to 75mcg?

What time gap was there between last dose of T3 & blood test? Recommended timing to see stable blood levels is 8-12 hours for T3 otherwise test will show either a false high or false low.

Free T4 (fT4) 1.4 pmol/L (.8 - 1.8) 60.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 3 pmol/L (2.3 - 4.2) 36.8%

I would say that you are likely under replaced due to low FT4 & FT3, also TSH is only just below range. On T3 most peoples TSH goes a lot below range if not suppressed as that is what T3 does.

Under replacement symptoms have a large overlap with over replacement. Weight loss can be due to being hypo.

Likely you need to increase T3 by 5mcgs.
