Hi all, can you point me to info where it states that Tsh results are not significant in Hashimotos and why this is so .
I am going to my GP tomoz to discuss this 😦 😨.
I have had my follow-up appointment with NHS endocrinologist which was terrible and she said “Tpo Is 1 Blip out of all test and is not Hashimotos” ( amongst other things she said ) and again received letter today she has sent to my Gp quoting her opinions of Levi not needed.
I have had my private appointment and sh has started me on Levo quoting exact opposite of Nhs endocrinologist. 😂
my Gp is aware I was having both appointments and he’s very good and supportive . He said once I have had both appointments he will if needed refer me to another endo .
I live in Merseyside so any good advice of NHS endos in this area would be appreciated also .
I want to be able to tell him or show him research that ths results of tsh has no baring with Hashimoto's ,tsh in range or out of range.
I have lots of research and info to give him but would like him to understand why Tpo and Tg are are important
My Nhs endo is good at at writing letters and twisting what she as said but never writes what I have said and believe so makes me out to be a depressed hypochondriac idiot that’s imaging all my symptoms . Because of her wording in letters really makes me feel like an idiot and as I am quite emotionally sensitive at moment I need to get through to him without emotion just facts lol🤔.
Hope this makes sense 🤗
