tall cell variant

I was diagnosed with Graves after contracting Covid in Dec 2020. Had ongoing thyrotoxicosis and heart issues for last 3 1/2 years.

Ultra sound carried out on Feb 2023 I was told by radiologist I had multiple nodules but a fine needle biopsy was never carried out.

Thyroid removed Jan 24, diagnosed tall cell variant April 24.

Has anyone else suffered this and could the hyperthyroidism of been a sign of the cancer rather than graves?
