Day 3

Changed to gluten free

Itching skin on face disappeared and can actually pull on my trousers-no swollen stomach

Sorting supplements but still researching

Two Brazil nuts a day for selenium

Drinking more hot water and changing to caffeine free tea

No weight loss

Will post next week

I see there are over 33,000 people here

Do you think the Government should step up and review the whole Thyroid medicine?

There’s much confusion and unwell people out there?

I think we'll be waiting a long time for them to wake up to our issues, they seem to prefer to prolong suffering rather than make people well 😖

Too true

I’ve lived for years in a private hell

Seems to be the truth for many of us struggling along, thankfully we have this forum which is way more advanced than I think anything we'll be offered by the NHS

There’s actually over 137,000 members

Almost 2 million people in U.K. on levothyroxine, about 90% are female

And yes UK treatment guidelines need significant overhaul

Are they all Thyroid folk or all of the HealthUnlocked users?

That's 137,017 people who have joined this Thyroid forum.

Obviously many never post anything....but hopefully they might read a bit and learn

Numbers joining grows all the time

Join Thyroid U.K. to help show how many people are not correctly treated

Keep your GP (and endocrinologist) up to speed on what’s working for you

Etc etc
