If anyone could advise on the best suppliers of supplements I would be grateful and also should I add iodine into the mix
supplement suppliers: If anyone could advise on... - Thyroid UK
supplement suppliers
Many of us use different suppliers as one product from 1 manufacture or store might be very good with bio absorbable ingredients and another supplement could be poor or have very low doses.
Might be best to ask specifically what supplement you want to add & members can advise what works well for them.
Thyroid UK has some discount codes for a few supplement suppliers

Most don’t need an iodine supplement. Additional iodine can worsen thyroid issues.
It’s very unusual to be deficient in UK. Unless you have a diet which restricts iodine sources it’s unlikely necessary to be tested.
If you suspect you have iodine deficiency, it important to test levels before taking a supplement. You would likely have to arrange privately.
I've used Dolphin Fitness a few times. Their range and their prices are quite good - but they do take a long time to send stuff.
I've come to the conclusion that they don't actually keep much stock and only buy in themselves when they get an order. But I could be wrong.
Although I've never used them myself I've seen some people commenting approvingly of Cytoplan, one of the companies that Thyroid UK gives a discount code for.
I've bought from Ebay occasionally, and Amazon a lot. I buy from Amazon because of the convenience more than anything else, but their prices aren't great.
I usually avoid Holland & Barrett because their prices aren't good and some products are sold with poor quality ingredients e.g folic acid instead of methylfolate, cyanocobalamin instead of methylcobalamin. I do actually use them for buying toothpaste (fluoride-free) and mouthwash of the type I like and can tolerate.
