cytomel and food

this is likely a silly question, but do the same rules apply to cytomel as synthroid when it comes to taking on an empty stomach? My synthroid bottle has a warning on it about not taking it with iron or magnesium and taking an hour away from food or drink. My cytomel doesn't have the same warning. Can I assume that food and drink don’t interfere with absorption with cytomel? Many thanks!

This question does get asked from time to time, but I seem to recall opinions are mixed. My comment will bring it back up the news feed, so hopefully others will see it and offer their thoughts.
