Help with results and dosage please

Hi I would appreciate any advise please, I currently take 175 of thyroxine and up until a couple of weeks ago 20mcg of T3, unfortunately I ran out of T3 but have now managed to get a new supply. As I am new to the T3 I have attached my latest blood results and would appreciate any suggestions as to what you think I might need to increase/decrease. Thanks

To get accurate results that reflect our true levels of hormone we need to be on a consistent dose for 6-8 weeks.

If you have missed a week or 2 of T3 during this time then these results aren;t accurate and you should retest having been on the same dose for 6-8 weeks.

Your vitamin levels are terrible. Are you vegan or vegetarian?

B12 - do you have symptoms of B12 deficiency? The reference range for B12 is very wide and cut off point too low. theb12society.com/signs-and...

If you do then you should discuss this with your doctor for further tests for Pernicious Anaemia.

If not, then start with a methyl B12 sublingual spray or lozenge for a week, then add a good B complex. Once you run out of the separate B12 just continue with the B complex.

Folate also too low and the B complex as mentioned above will bring that up.

Slightly cheaper options with inactive B6:

Contains B6 as P5P an active form:

When retesting do follow the recommended protocol:

Test at 9am (or as close as possible), fasting, last levo dose 24hrs before the blood draw, last T3 dose 8-12 hours before blood draw & no biotin containing supplements for 3-7 days (Biotin can interfere with thyroid blood results as it is used in the testing process)?

Testing like this gives consistency in your results and will show stable blood levels of hormone and highest TSH which varies throughout the day. Taking Levo/T3 just prior to blood draw can show a falsely elevated result and your GP/Endo might change your dose incorrectly as a result.

Thank you, I take multi vitamins and magnesium glycinate. I will arrange to have vit D tested. I have an appointment with consultant on Thursday but wanted an opinion from people who actually know the problems we encounter.
