Elevated red blood cell count

Morning all

I've had a couple of blood tests since Xmas and both show a slightly elevated red blood cell count. I don't smoke and the GP seemed concerned but hasn't offered any ideas.

Now I wonder if its thyroid related and if when I'm properly medicated that might reduce?

Also see elevated hemoglobin levels..

Any thoughts welcome! Thank you 😊

I very often point members at a specific website which explains much about many tests. The UK site is here (and I have point you at white blood cells for a starter):
