I was describing to my osteo how it’s hard for me to work out on consecutive days because of long lasting muscular pain, which I know is a side effect of my hypothyroidism. I’ve always felt affected by this even when I was working out very regularly. He recommended taking creatine for better muscle recovery and to help build lean muscle mass.
Does anyone here take creatine? How has it helped you? How much do you take and do you have a preferred brand?

Not specifically, I started looking into the various ones got a bit bamboozled ended up settling on a full spectrum amino acid supplement to cover all bases... recovery is much improved... I shall take a listen 🤗
I'm exactly the same. Have to have rest day inbetween. Worse after legs day can be aching 3 days later. My son's keep telling me to take creatinine. Will read up on it now. Didn't realise it could be anything to do with thyroid issues. I also can only train mornings and wonder how normal people go work then go gym after
Same I can do yoga on a Monday and still feel it on a Friday, have been trying BCAAs and some improvement but am hoping this will mean normal DOMS and not crazy hypothyroidism mucin DOMS 🌱
Had to look up them abbreviations 😂 I'm no expert and know no terminology of any of the stuff I do. My son PT's me and a friend. He's said I should take it but thought I'd end up like the hulk so kept refusing. Definitely try it now 👍
