Growing Nodule

hello I’m 33 years old woman Living in US. Worst Healthcare known to man considering what I read here. In 2018 they discovered a “mass” attempted biopsy came back scant (no insurance at the time) didn’t come back up until 2020 3.2cm at that time. Fast forward to Oct 2023 had a chest xray at ER incidental finding nodule has grown to over 5cm. Supposedly favored to be benign referred to surgeon. I now have insurance and thought having not removed is best. I’m typically hyperthyroid but since my pregnancy which ended 18 months ago my levels are within normal range. I am breastfeeding still. No meds currently. They plan to do pathology on nodule once removed. They want to take right thyroid. Should I get it removed or wait? Being dependent on medication for the rest of my life does not sit well with me…. Any and all input is welcomed and appreciated.

Many people on this board can share their experiences. It might be helpful to tell us more about your story.

How do you feel? Do you have symptoms that you know of? Were you formally diagnosed and treated for hyperthyroidism in the past?

Do you have any blood test results you can share here? For example:

1) TSH

2) Free T3

3) Free T4

And presumably if you have been diagnosed as hyperthyroid- have you had any antibody tests?

1) TRab

2) TSI

3) TPOab

4) TGab

Also these vitamins help paint a complete picture too if you’ve ever had them tested.
