PIP question

Hello there!

A friend has suggested I apply for PIP. I have hypothyroidism which isn’t brilliantly regulated with Levothyroxine. Additionally I have osteo - arthritis, anxiety and various other ailments.

I know it all depends on how my health affects my daily living but my coping changes on a day-to-day basis (I work part-time) .

Have any of you successfully claimed PIP?

Tia

Yes I claimed PIP. But I don’t work anymore. It took me 15 months from first applying and ending up going to tribunal to get it.

There are many websites to help you fill in the forms. It is possible to get it whilst working but I would guess it would be difficult 😞.

Good luck

I didn’t find it hard getting PIP while I was working. Oddly, I did when I wasn’t working and too unwell to challenge it.

Go for it. Use your local CAB office to help with the form, and make a Subject Access Request to your GP to get your file (often digitally if you ask) and use that as your evidence. Go through it to redact anything you do not want them to see.
