I usually have Wockhardt 25mg and Accord 100mcg Levo, not that I feel well on either, due to severe anxiety issues for years now, but have been given Aristo brand today. Am reluctant to try it due to being brand sensitive on a couple of others ie. Teva due to the mannitol and Mercury Pharma.
Dare I try it or go back and ask for my usual brand. Not heard of Aristo before
Aristo is lactose free and often well tolerated.
Its not great to be switching brand but if you have no alternative and they can get you back to your usul brand next time then it might be worth trying.
I take Aristo - and am happier on it than any other UK 100 microgram tablet. But we are all different.

what difference did you notice to your previous brand (which was)?
I've had all of the other brands in the past and all aggravated stomach to a greater or lesser degree until I swapped to Vencamil as it has now been named by Aristo.
Probably mostly to do with the lactose content, but also Aristo don't add the unpleasant fillers 🤷♀️

So does mine! Aristo were going to supply it as Aristo Levothyroxine and as Aristo Vencamil. But they found issues so decided to drop the packaging for Aristo Levothyroxine. However, they doubtless had stock.
The tablets are identical whichever you get.
Many of us are looking forward to further dosages (at least 25 and 50) later this year.

It has:
No lactose
No mannitol
No acacia
Which are the three most commonly suspected/reported issues.
Obviously, at the end of the line, the only real answer will come from trying. But, as you have previously had problems, I do understand why you are hesitant.
I think there are still plenty of the generic in stock (it's only the box and name that has changed, which should in theory make them easier to get specified on a prescription) when the Aristo stock run out it will be Vencamil so if your script states Aristo they don't show on the pharmacy list anymore 😵
If you script states Vencamil they can still give you an Aristo box though as it's the same thing!!

The generic vs brand issue really means absolutely nothing in the context of the UK. Accord/Actavis/Almus are all generic!
We used to have just one brand - Eltroxin. But, at times, that has been not even been marketed!
As Hedgeree says, the Aristo product being available branded as Vencamil does help with getting the prescription written so you get only this product.
The Aristo tablets are easy to split.
I had stomach issues on Teva.
None of us can promise anything about Aristo. We can only inform you of the facts about the product. And relate our experiences or mention the experiences of others.
If you do decide to try - maybe try half a tablet? If that seems OK, take the other half later in the day.
And make sure try it while you still have some other tablets to switch back to if it doesn't work out. Your worst scenario is to wait until you have no other tablets, try it, and find it isn't ideal for you - but you can't go back because you have no other tablets.

Teva - bubbly tummy, some reflux, bit itchy but better than Accord, bloating, awful tummy cramps and IBS symptoms (turns out I’m lactose and mannitol sensitive). 🌱

I struggled with Wockhardt as I'm intolerant of lactose; it caused much digestive upset with bloating and terrible wind being the worst (sorry!)
As I also have problems tolerating mannitol and acacia, Vencamil has so far given me no issues.
I've titrated up really slowly as I've had low thyroid levels for many years. When I was first prescribed levo I struggled as it caused scary chest pains but once I realised that I needed to give my body time to gradually get used to the increasing hormones I've been fine.
Also managing to stick with the same brand has also helped though it's taken a bit of doing to get Vencamil specified on my script.
