What we find in this group is that low vitamin levels cause issues with tolerating T3.

Your level doesnt need to be completely deficient even, just not optimal.

I'd recommend you get tested for ferritin, folate, B12 & D3 and post your results here for comments.

Do you think my adrenals are ok? :)My leves of iron attached. My vit D is 47 and folate 29,25 (range is everything above 12.5 is normal) and B12 is 592 (range 156-672)

I am not taking supplemets

Your ferritin is on the low side. Ferritin should be around 90 - 100 for best use of thyroid hormone. Suggest increasing iron rich foods in diet and eating them often. Chicken livers, pate, red meat etc

I am not sure what unit measurement your vit D result is. By UK standards that would be low and you should supplement.

Folate & B12 look OK but we do recommend taking a good methyl B complex to help keep all the B's in balance.

It is essential to get all vitamin levels to OPTIMAL to help thyroid hormone tolerance and use of thyroid hormone.

Thank you for advice, I will try to increase it. :) But my main concern was cortisol, because I have trouble staying asleep, could you please give my some advice? :)

I dont really advise about cortisol.

Low vitamin levels can also affect cortisol and sleep and how your body uses thyroid hormone.

The graph is a bit tricky to interpret because ranges aren't actually listed, but if you're within the normal range, then it's not a big worry. Your overall curve is normal (highest in the morning and then decreasing), which is good. Your midday level and evening level look fairly low in range though, so you may be on a downward trajectory and could benefit from taking adrenal cortex, potentially, if you are struggling to tolerate T3 - cortisol is often a culprit for that. Could you maybe post a fuller version of the results with their interpretation? Which company did you use?

Yes, sorry here

Cortisol range

Ah that's better. OK so your levels aren't bad at all, just a bit low in range, especially night time one. A small amount of adrenal cortex or even licorice root might help if you're having symptoms and struggling with the T3. Also want to make sure you're eating well and supplementing enough - not eating enough or having a limited diet can raise stress and deplete cortisol levels. For the evening, you might even find that having a bit more of a carb-ier dinner might help with sleep.

Thank you for advice. I have problem with waking up at 2/3 am and then I am not able to fall asleep again. But you think that just evening cortisol is preventing me from tolerating t3?

Ah yes, that early waking is a sign of low cortisol, so that would marry with your low night time level - you're essentially running out by the end of the day. If you don't have enough, your body will make adrenaline instead, hence the wide awake thing. The cortisol likely isn't the only thing creating problems with T3 - it's probably a mix of things, which could include low minerals/vitamins. So it might be a matter of trying to address each of those.

I dint know that thing about adrenaline. So, I should take someting in the morning to increase cortisol and than night will balance out?

It's worth a try - adrenal cortex or licorice root (avoid the latter if you have high BP), low dose, can help some. They're safe to use (apart from the blood pressure caveat for licorice), so you can experiment a bit and see how you feel.
