Hi again. Sorry to be a pain but is there an issue using private messaging to get help to choose an Endo who will prescribe T3? I'm not technically au fait using websites etc but believe I do need a dose of T3 as got my vit levels up to optimum but still low T3 so seeking help. Thank you.

No there is not an issue Lotty. If folks can help they will send you a private message. A private message is sent by using the chat and paper aeroplane icon. This means that the msg is only sent to you and no one else sees it.Replies were blocked to your post meaning that folks could not put a reply on the open forum for us all to read. But this doesn't stop them sending you a msg directly.
Thankyou. Never used this part of messaging before but so tired of trying to get GP to help but as my T4 level ok as far as she is concerned and thinks T3 is irrelevant (even tho low from private blood tests) so following SlowDragon’s suggestion of Private Endo. I also think many Drs not that interested in the elderly! Maybe that’s just my experience!

I have download the link but there doesn't appear to be any private Endos, just NHS Dr@hospital I went to last yr where Endo (prob registrar) +I did not agree on a number of issues! She discharged me pronto! I poss need to travel to, say, Salford. Will look@list again+ask for comment on a couple that are, say, 50 miles away. Thank you again.

Thank you+thanks to everyone in this community. I now have a video appt with private Endo in December (on recommendation from another lovely lady on here). His PA has been exceptionally helpful+speedy with responses. Where would I be without help from you wonderful people!!😍
It may be that noone in your area has seen your post.
You can also email info@thyroiduk.org for a list of T3 friendly Endo's.
Pick one or two then make a post asking for feedback via PM on them.
