LDN Hashimotos.
There is a LDN forum on Health Unlocked that may be of interest to you starbuck10.
Hi yes I have been on Ldn now for 18 months. I have Hashi motos. It was life changing for me. Stopped the ups and downs of mood and energy changes. All my blood numbers were great but I just was so up and down. I use the sublingual drops. I used to struggle yo get going in the mornings but not anymore and I so focused at work. I started at. 5 (1 drop) and now take 9 drops at night (4.5ml).
I've been on it for nearly 11 months. I take it for Fibro not thyroid. I started low and slow 0.5ml liquid and am now on 4.5ml capsules one at night. I find it helps with energy, mood and general wellbeing.
I have been using LDN for 2 years very successfully for Fibro & hypothyroidism. I couldn’t use the drops that you swallow (diarrhoea) so transferred to the sublingual drops very successfully. Definitely need to introduce very slowly. I think it takes 3 months to reach full dose of 4.5 mcg.
It helped me hugely with stamina. Unfortunately it can lose effectiveness eventually but the advice is to have a break & then reintroduce. I definitely recommend trying it but go slow. I got mine from clinic158.com where you can self refer to a prescriber.
It’s important to check thyroid hormones after a couple of months as it reduces your need & you may need to drop your dose.
