Crumbling issues with Accord 50 mcgs tablets

I have a new batch of Accord 50 mcgs tablets and I use a tablet cutter for my alternate day doses, but they have started to crumble and they didn’t before - not like they are now.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thank you

Yes. This has been posted here many times over the years.

Seems to affect some batches.

Please, please, EVERYONE AFFECTED put in Yellow Card reports for each batch that does this.

Or, of course, for any other relevant issues that anyone has with medicines.

Thank you. I will report this.

What is your advice for cutting them at the moment? Do I makes sure I take the crumbled parts also?

Use damp finger to collect any crumbs up….definitely don’t waste them

Is this because each crumb is significant?

Every crumb matters.

A small variation in dose day to day is unlikely to have that much impact. Just cut/break and do your best. But make sure none gets lost - dropped, blown away, etc. It is perfectly fine to put the crumbs in your mouth and swallow.

And don't cut multiple tablets ahead of time. Just do one tablet every other day.

I was not aware of this and how important it is to not loose any of the tablet

Thank you again.
