minus,

Cortisol of 133 nmol/l seems exceedingly low. Can you offer further context to your post. Was anything else tested? Are they offering you further testing such as a stim based on this result?

I've now asked to have short sycathen test. As I also thought it was a low result. My thyroid levels are out again tsh 6.7 and free t4 12 result.

minus,

A TSH of 6.7 looks far too high and FT4 of 12 far too low but you will invite more responses if you can include the ranges for your test results. These are the numbers in brackets that enable members to see exactly where number lie.

What was the time of your blood test? The reference ranges refer to 9 AM. Any major variation from this time makes the test less (or not) useful.

It was 9.15am

I had a second 9am cortisol blood test and that was 223 nmol/L

I've asked Dr for short syncathen test. But he asked me to do another 9am blood test and if that result is low, will arrange a short syncathen test for me. Yay! Hopefully find out.
