Honestly I wondered at the time what was wrong. Like him I wondered if it was about heading the ball. He is a terribly likeable chap. My Mother had this problem with speech/suspected drunkenness. She was so ashamed. IMHO (with hindsight) was undiagnosed hypothyroid. I have had a few incidences myself both when undiagnosed and later over medicated. He is a natural communicator, even if he suffers this problem. Good call Charlie-Farley.
When he retweeted the petition I thought there was a noticeable increase in signatures, he has so many followers.
It was good to have a different link to send to some people, as they can identify with a football more than a thyroid.
