Has anyone been able to make a successful claim for PIP with Thyroid problems. I’ve suffered with hypothyroidism for almost 30 years and have been advised to make a claim for PIP but the process seems so complicated I don’t know where to start

I’m sure there are people with thyroid issues who claim pip because the award is not based on the name of the condition you have - it’s the help you need which is taken into account.
You do need the support of your GP / specialist or medical professional who can confirm your your difficulties.
Claims can take a long time to process around 6 months & you often need to attend a meeting for formal assessment. (Sometimes done via telephone)

What are your thyroid diagnosis do you have any current results you can share? Eg TSH, FT4, FT3, Antibodies (TPO & TG) & nutrients such as folate ferritin vitamin D & B12. (and include the ranges)
What hormone replacement dose do you take? You may be under medicated.
Do you take other medications?
What supplements do you take?

It seems very likely that you are not on the right dose of thyroid medication. When was your most recent thyroid test, and what were the results?
