Currently I am taking 27.5mg of T3 (liothyronine) daily. Labs just came back again:
T3 Free: 4.6 pg/mL (2.0 - 4.4 pg/mL)
T4 Free: 0.10 ng/dL (0.82 - 1.77 ng/dL)
TSH: 0.923 uIU/mL (0.450 - 4.500 uIU/mL)
After over 5 brutal years I finally learned I have had mold exposure. And, I am currently intolerant to T4 of any kind (mold causes intolerances to meds and supplements). As I am detoxing mold and healing gut, my T3 dose has dropped from 45mg to currently 27.5mg since March!!! I am still too high -- my hallmark symptoms of heart palps, fatigue, muscle aches, insomnia, etc) are flaring again telling me I, once again, need to bump down. With each drop I go down 2.5 for about 5 days and then another 2.5 for about 5 days, totaling 5. So plan to go down to 22.5. I am 62 and tall and very thin. My endo agrees. Any of your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am so grateful for this group to turn to when I need some advice. Really appreciate the kind, experienced, good people in this group.

I took full dose and then tested 8 hrs later which is what endo suggested. That is what I've been doing this whole year as I have been stepping down on my dose. Your way sounds very precise!
Yes antibodies are high but just barely. Nutrients are real good with the mold exposure my functional doctor is really on top of that. I'm just trying to get the t3 right! I feel very over-medicated so wasn't surprised to see it out of range. Just started liposomal glutathione part of mold detox and was told that could improve t4 to t3 conversion in the gut. I think that might be happening to me.
