Yes... and possibly a drink problem 😁🤗
😂😂😂
With haemochromatosis they are few and far between! 🙄
Joking aside, her thyroid region certainly looks suspect does she have any symptoms? How does your thyroid issue present?
Sorry if this comes across patronizing and you already know this, but did you use very high ferritin as your grounds for haemochromatosis diagnosis or have you had the gene tested? High ferritin can be indicative of inflammation and is not necessarily haemochromatosis.
I only ask because I actually had a private doctor once tell me I have haemochromatosis due to high ferritin but when I did my own genetic investigations it turned out it was just inflammation. 🙄 (it is scary when not even the doctors know what they’re doing).
I’m sure radd won’t mind my outing her as an HFE carrier. If she has the time I am sure she will be able to provide some insights on managing it as I know it does require long term blood donations and dietary caution.
My daughter is being treated for the haemochromatosis by the hospital and has had blood taken by them. She has made contact with Radd via the haemochromatosis society forum. My ferritin was 250 but my saturation test was fine. My husband and I are carriers, but thank you for your interest.
Oh that’s great 🙂
Did you test thyroid antibodies and vitamin D, folate and B12
She had a Medichecks full thyroid test, I have no idea what else she had tested I’m sorry
unfortunately in Spain for a long time
