Hi I'm slightly confused by your post.

So your GP is refusing to authorise a prescription for T3 and T4 even though you had been prescribed these before?

I feel like I should know this but what is ICB?

GP doesn't believe you've been allergy tested?

What are your allergy symptoms? Are you or have you been under an NHS Allergy clinic?

If you have Hashimotos, have you had TPO levels tested?

If it's true allergy as opposed to intolerance (from their perspective mere 'intolerance' doesn't necessarily mean you need a certain formulation...the ignorance) I can't see how you could be refused a formulation that is free from the allergy inducing ingredients.

If true allergy the allergy clinic can write to GP requesting you be given medicine without the ingredients (corn etc) that will make you ill.

They cannot leave you in an overtly hypothyroid state. If I were you, I'd be inclined to get a private thyroid test which after weeks of no meds should show very elevated TSH and high TPO and send it to the GP and Practice Manager.

If no joy you are within your rights to go A&E if severely hypothyroid. Our meds are free for a reason. Coma and death are real possibilities!

I had to come off all meds recently, including T3. It was a short time but the PAIN I went through for a few days, before my body got past the shock and adjusted was truly awful.

This is disgusting being treated the way you are. Unacceptable.
