NHS England has just published updated guidance on the "Items which should not routinely be prescribed in primary care: policy guidance" - england.nhs.uk/long-read/it...

We will be giving feedback along with the other thyroid groups ASAP as we are very concerned about the recommendations and how they will impact thyroid patients.

Hi Lynmynott

Thank you for the information.

Are we to sign a petition. I have been on T3 Mercury for years. Now and then especially recently having problem with the pharmacist. Though it's on the screen but i am given teva or morningside.

It causes stress as I am disable have to ask some one else to collect or go by taxi several times. I have had thyroxine and eltroxin in the past and had not tolerated.

To be forced to swallow T4 would be criminal I believe when I know that T3 has resolved all of my miserable clinical symptoms - the brunt of T4 which fell upon my husband in the middle of the night when my heart went crazy and we tried to bring it back to normal. with ice-packs around my neck and I sipped ice-cold water.

Cardiologist couldn't figure what was the cause despite him taking recordings.

Lyn I don’t suppose you underestimate your task. Thank you so much for undertaking this. I have no doubt many of us will give you any support possible.

I have given my opinion on the forum that I think we really are in the area of Human Rights.
