Hi,
I posted my thyroid results last week asking for advice. I was advised to obtain thyroid antibody tests, which I have now done. I’ll put all the results in comments below. Any further advice welcome, thanks so much.

I'm intrigued by your low LH and FSH as I'm assuming you are post meno as this is the range they have used?
Luteinizing Hormone (LH) levels increase as estrogen and progesterone levels decrease during menopause1. Most menopausal women will have LH levels over 40 IU/L, however, levels ranging anywhere between 5.3 to 65.4 IU/L would also be considered normal2. Normal LH numbers depend on a few things, like your sex and age3. If FSH and LH levels are abnormally high, it may indicate problems with the ovaries or testicles. If they are low, there may be an issue with the pituitary or hypothalamus4. During menopause, the number of ovarian follicles declines and the ovaries become less responsive to LH and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH)5.
I’m post menopausal but on HRT patches.
Me too, but my latest results were.. just thought I'd flag it up as obviously the pituitary and hypothalamus are also involved in the thyroid feedback loop
I get the feeling if you sort out your awful folate and Vit D things will pick up and should improve your thyroid, diabetes and cholesterol levels.
To be honest a GP won't take much notice of these thyroid results
Ahh thank you. I’m going to read up more on pituitary disease and how it impacts other things. A couple of people have mentioned this to me. I just want to be armed with as much information and research as possible before I go to my GP. I’m fed up feeling so unwell and just being told it’s down to stress and anxiety.
So apparently not autoimmune thyroid disease
20% of Hashimoto's patients never have raised antibodies so an ultrasound scan next step

Gluten intolerance is often a hidden issue too.
Request coeliac blood test BEFORE considering trial on strictly gluten free diet
Previous post shows really terrible vitamin levels

Hopefully you are working your way through slowly adding lots of supplements to improve theses
Retest thyroid and vitamin levels in another 2 months
Meanwhile get coeliac blood test done BEFORE Considering gluten free diet
Thank you. Yes I’ve ordered all the vitamins I need along with the co factors suggested from a Vitamin D wellness group.
Should I wait until I’ve had a couple of months on the vitamins before discussing the thyroid results with my GP?
Also, I’ve been on PPI’s for around 30 years!
Work on improving vitamin levels at least 6-8 weeks
Then request test via GP including BOTH Ft4 and Ft3 and book early morning test, 9am latest and only water to drink between waking and test
Brilliant thank you. I’ve been reading so much, it’s a minefield how all the vitamins overlap.
Also, I’ve been on PPI’s for around 30 years!
Why?
This is likely causing terrible vitamin levels
Are you still on PPI
You absolutely can’t stop taking suddenly.

I have had oesophagitis in the past and have bad reflux disease. Also diagnosed with IBS a couple of years ago.
I’m currently trying to reduce my PPI. I know it’s not easy, as I’ve tried before and was in awful pain. I’m just reducing very slowly.
IBS and acid reflux both common result of hypothyroidism
You probably need to improve thyroid levels in order to improve low stomach acid
