I'm on 3.5 Grain NDT. I get a improment in sleep and depression. In the 5 week my depression worsen and i got daily nightmares. Now I reached week 6 and the worsening is still there. What does this mean?
On levo 162 i had the worsening also in week 5 and in week 8 the depression (nightmares and interupted sleep) was very severe. Moving the thyroid dosage lifted the depression in 9 days!
Had anyone else this pattern ?

OK, that's a very short range. But, some people just do need their FT3 slightly over-range to feel well. Could be the T3 just isn't getting into the cells.
How are your nutrients: vit D, vit B12, folate, ferritin?
I read in your profile that you was on t3 only. I was also on t3 only with 75mgc splitted on 3x 25 never had blood levels on it. I was doing well for 2,5 years before got this lack of motivation/ lack of interest and exessive exhausted after eating. I took antidepressant after antidepressant also pure dopamine without sucess. After this i try since 1 year different dosages with t4 only, NDT.
Could the t3 only in the past damaged something? Do you have experience with low cortisol?
I did salvita cortisol test after getting up and had the lowest cortisol in the range. Never repeated the test.
What symptoms you should have on low cortisol?
My second problem ist my high pulse. It is always every day betwewn 100 and 111 in sitting. But blood pressure is normal. After a nap sometimes in the afternoon it is still over 100. In every dosage on tyhroid medication it was still high.
Can the pulse change maby after 8 weeks on a dosage?
I'm still on T3 only, yes. Have been for years, now. Pretty certain it's not damaging anything. What could it damage? I've been taking 75 mcg but I take it all at once, in the morning.
I did have very low cortisol at one time, just before I tried NDT. My doctor - a hormone specialist - put me on HydroCortisol. Didn't need to stay on it forever, just to give the adrenals a rest, until they started functioning normally on their own. I can't remember the symptoms, especially not as I was having a lot of hypo symptoms at the time. But, whilst taking it, I did lose some weight. Then, on NDT, I put it all back on again!
I tried T4 mono-therapy first, then T4+T3, then NDT. None of them suited me, which is why I tried T3 mono-therapy and that's the right treatment for me.
I'm afraid I have no experience of pulse variations because mine has always been 'normal'.
