Your kinds words and useful suggestions and stories of similar experiences have really helped me today. The positive power of social media in action.

Rather than obsessing about our thyroid issues, we have chatted about other things and it's been like sitting in a coffee shop with you all and having a good old chat about the hardships that come with elderly parents etc.

I started the day feeling miserable and put-upon. I'm ending it with a positive step, a new Apple Watch on order for mum for the fall detection and emergency call options, a number to ring tomorrow to register as a new carer and see what help is available for me/her. And some sensible suggestions to hold onto.

So a big thank you from me.
