Access to g.p. records

Hello

I think this has been addressed somewhere before. If anyone knows the latest on it. Wanting to have full access to my g.p. records as going to see some consultants privately and this would be helpful to be able to print out past information that is relevant. Also to access records to support benefit application in future. Does anyone know how to access data. I have accessed it years ago when in paper copy, g.p. just letting me sit in office and copy what I needed.

Surgery reception ought to be able to give you some things to sign and then access codes are sent out 🤗 using Systmonline or NHS app unless you are in Wales and possibly Scotand?

Hi Jane5252,

My surgery uses 'Patient Access' but as Eeyore says just contact your surgery and they will sort it for you.

And it is free! You can get your GP notes, and your hospital notes. I have two ring binders full!

Have a look on your GPs web site, and see if there is a way to get them through that.
