Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Cardiologist York. UK. Has anyone had dealings with him?

I realise I will need to be Privately messaged by anyone with information.

I have just come across Dr. Gupta and his work about how thyroid issues affect the heart. It’s not the usual stuff about CHD. His information is thyroid specific. A breath of fresh air it would seem. He seems to work both privately and NHS.

It may be I have to be referred to him or his team but it’s my intention to find someone in my region to consult. I live in an area of the UK which has an internationally famous reputation for heart issues, but no-one has seen fit to refer me. I experienced a MINOCA (Myocardial infarction with non-obstructive coronary arteries) in 2002. Apparently these type of heart attacks did not have a name until 2008 but my situation has never been updated. I definitely improved for a while on thyroid medication but it’s not lasted and the symptoms have never been fully resolved.

So if anyone has been treated by him, even for non thyroid issues, I would be obliged to hear from you.
