No mercury pharma advanz t3 from my local boots anymore. I am I'll with other brands

No large chain pharmacies near me will supply brand levothyroxine or T3 I need despite prescription specifying Mercury Pharma Levothyroxine on prescription

I spoke to very helpful pharmacist at our GP surgery this week …..apparently it’s not (yet) possible to specify brand of T3 on prescription……but he did recognise that many people can’t change brand of levothyroxine or T3

I drive 10 miles to wonderful helpful small independent pharmacy

Actually it is stated on my prescription mercury pharma only. I have been getting it since 2012. With only a couple of times where couldn't get it. This is first time I haven't had it for 2 weeks. Luckily I have spare but are out of date.

I suggest you contact Advanz/Mercury Pharma and ask.

Also, ring round, or visit, every pharmacy you can reach. One of them might be willing and able to help.

And if you still have no luck, ring round the many online pharmacies.

I'm sorry not to be more helpful but it really does end up being shoe-leather and perseverance.
