Obviously it's meant to "stimulate" the thyroid. Don't bother. It contains iodine which should be tested with a non-loading test before considering supplementing with any iodine supplement. Iodine used to be used to treat overactive thyroid before the invention of the current radioactive iodine treatment, therefore it can cause hypothyroidism or make hypothyroidism worse.

Did you get key nutrients tested as advised in reply to your previous posts:

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

I’m going for a spend on the most comprehensive test I can get.

Test before supplementing anything.

A further point:

If you look around, you can find multiple different lists of ingredients for product(s) sold as Thyrostim.

thanks. So if it doesn’t contain iodine?

I wouldn't trust any of the lists of ingredients.

Even if I did, I'd be asking why about each and every ingredient.

It appears to have a lot of 'EEs' I don't understand enough to say whether that's a good or bad thing.

But I like the idea of the pituitary glandular. Usually that's expensive on its own.

I don't know what the modified cellulose gum is or for.

thank you. I won’t be partaking. It was proposed by a nutritionist pal as a possibility but her main area of help is gut health
