I’m quite happy with todays results from my blood test although they’re not appearing in my nhs app yet.

Kidney and liver function perfect

all my vitamins okay and iron okay

howwvwr my poor thyroid is being over medicated

I was Graves at the age of 15 had a partial removal and turned hypo in my thirties Im not a very young 60

I am also on gel HRT so ladies that don’t know when you give your body back the oestrogen it needs through HRT sometimes you need a thyroxin reset

That’s why my throat has been dry

doctor has said I need to be retested in 6 weeks

I feel so relieved

Hypogirl1, please share copies of blood results with us (plus ranges) as soon as you can for TSH, FT3 and FT4, plus key vitamins so members can offer better advice and support

Regarding menopause and HRT, it may be useful to have a look at Dr Louise Newson’s free Balance App, as I find it really useful for comparing HRT medications & having up to date research articles. There is also an ability to post questions.
